Is there anything better than food? A drip-down-your-chin juicy mango, a perfectly cooked steak–medium-rare, airy and crunchy crust, a rich and herbaceous dollop of béarnaise sliding down the side, a vibrant spread of jewel-toned berries at the farmer’s market? Not to me, there’s not.

I fell in love with food properly when I moved away to college and had to learn to satisfy my gourmet tastes in my own less-than-Michelin kitchen (and on my Top Ramen budget). I feel this longtime love, bordering on obsession, comes out passionately in my food photography.

I share my food photography and recipes on my blog 40 Aprons. I work in both commercial and editorial food photography, for both national brands and Memphis restaurants and food companies.
